The G Word – Are You Triggered Or Tickled?

The G Word…

How do you feel about that word…?

Its compact form makes it convenient for reciting quickly and easily in affirmations and powerful questions throughout the day, for communicating the amazing wonder of this world in conversations with others.

The word God can be a heavily charged word for many, and if the word doesn’t lift you up, you’re better off not using it.

Are you getting tripped up on the word God?  Do you tense up each time you hear it?
Were you raised in a religion with a horrendous description of God?
For the word to work for you, you need to release the traumatic associations with the word.  You need to assign your own definitions, to reprogram your concept of God, not just on a conscious level, but on a deep, cellular level.

Ask yourself the question, ‘Do I really want to believe in a higher power, an infinite intelligence, a loving energy source that created me and can guide me?
It’s totally up to you – it’s your life, your reality…

You don’t have to use the word ‘God.’

These days you can find plenty of alternatives being used.  Creator is popular among my clients, but there are more:  Source, Infinite Intelligence, The Divine, Great Spirit, Unified Field, Pure Consciousness, Buddha Nature, My Higher Power

Tim Kelly, author of True Purpose, uses the phrase ‘Trusted Source,’ as reference, while encouraging us to use whatever works.

Maybe you believe in gods and goddesses.
You have to find what works for you.

It doesn’t matter so much what you call it, but that you cultivate a deep and meaningful communication with this source and deeply believe in it’s benevolence and power, allowing your entire being to relax into its care.  Your body will be more easily recharged and ready for action, your mind will be calmer and able to tune into higher wisdom and guidance, and your heart will be rejuvenated and passionate for the adventures to come!

What do you call yours?  What is your experience?
